The Certification Authority of the Federal Chamber of Notaries (ZS) is a qualified trust service provider in accordance with the eIDAS Regulation. Notaries, members of the judiciary, bailiffs and lawyers receive qualified electronic signature products (qeS) that enable them to participate in electronic legal transactions.

Westernacher Solutions has been supporting ZS for many years in the conceptual design and development of the required application software, as well as its integration into the complex IT high-security landscape. ZS3 is now the third expansion stage of the IT components to cover the entire process – from application to issue.

The project focuses on the consistent development of an integrative and generic solution that enables the best possible integration of new products. For example, the pioneering concept of remote signatures using eID was recently integrated. Modern specialist procedures such as the online foundation are based on this, and topics such as eSiegel are already being developed.

ZS3 has been in productive use since 2018, is closely supported by us and is being driven forward with determination by a powerful, agile team of developers and consultants.
