With the newly developed web-based research tool DNotI-Online-Plus, the German Notary Institute (DNotI), with the support of Westernacher Solutions, provides a comprehensive and modern knowledge database for notarial practice.
The DNotl, a scientific institution of the Federal Chamber of Notaries, publishes legal opinions and current information on notarial practice on its website. In this way, it supports notaries in meeting the high quality standards of notarization and advice.
The subject of this project was the transfer of the website www.dnoti.de into the TYPO3 CMS standard. Furthermore, the connected specialist application DNotI-Online-Plus revised. The database offers notaries access to more than 100,000 expert opinions, decisions and other publications.
DNotI in a new look – for the notary’s office and on the move.
The aim was to migrate the data from the old system to the new solution while retaining all structures, links and original functionalities.To achieve this goal, Westernacher supported DNotI throughout the entire project life cycle; from the creation of the solution concept, to the realization of the website and the specialist application, through to maintenance and servicing, including second and third level support.
The focus was on the implementation of the complex specialist logic and the technical realization of automatic linking, extraction and indexing.
With the new Online-Plus, the DNotI offers notarial practice a modern and high-performance service and thus lives up to its claim to be the competence center of the German notarial profession.
